2024 Participating Artists

Jan Kornegay Dappen is a self-taught artist, originally from Columbus, Ga and presently a local Ellijay artist.. She is a founding member of TAG, formerly known as Gilmer Fine Artists Guild, Secretary of the Gilmer Arts Board and Chair of the Golf for the Arts Tournament-New Gallery/Education Center Renovation Fund. This is her 10th year painting and participating in Plein Air Events.  Life experiences lead her to seize the imperfect moments as well as the perfect moments. Realism guides her brush, and she adds a touch of impressionism. She is grateful for family and friends that support and encourage her passion and considers her talent a blessing from God.
