Julia Stevens
Julia began her passion for art as a young child. She would often be found sketching, drawing, and painting along the banks of the St John’s River in northeast Florida; beside the still water of Lake Junaluska; and in the emerald forest of the Great Smoky Mountains. She went on to earn a BA in Fine art and began her teaching career. Since her retirement, Julia is enjoying her time concentrating on the further development of her artistic skills. Her special love for the Appalachian Mountains is unmistakable in her plein air landscapes. Julia has won numerous awards for her artworks across the southeast United States. Her work can be found in many private collections and galleries.
